Welcome to Nicholas Copernicus Polish School in Mahwah, NJ
The main goals of Nicholas Copernicus Polish School in Mahwah, NJ are:
• teaching children Polish language in writing, reading, and speaking • teaching Polish history and Polish geography • teaching Polish traditions and culture, as well as singing of Polish songs and learning Polish folk dancing
Classes are held once a week on Saturday morning from 9.00 to 12.00 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 47 Island Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430.
School starts on the second Saturday of September, and ends on the second Sunday of June.The school holds classes for children ages 4-16.All Polish and/or English speaking students are welcome to attend. Our school is a member of, and adheres to the standardized syllabus set by Polish Supplementary School Council of America, Inc.
The Nicholas Copernicus Polish School is not the institution of full educational system and cannot be compared to schools in Poland. The main task is to integrate of Poles and the transfer of Polish culture, language, history and traditions from generation to generation.

Tuition is $330.00 for one child per school year. This includes field trips, occasional catering, prizes and souvenirs for students.
